I ended up having to go to the ER, 3 days in the hospital with a ton of tests and morphine accompanied by Tylenol 3's, and that didn't even help the headaches. They couldn't find anything wrong, and they said the blood was somewhat strange but nothing to be worried about. So they prescribed me vicodin and sent me home. I hate having to take pain pills in order to be able to function.

Sarah my heart goes out to you. I am still learning how to cope with the pain of Chiari, but am blessed with a healthy 17 year old daughter. I cannot imagnine her ever having to go through what you are enduring - it would kill me.
I am so glad that you started a blog for others to read. People need to hear about these awful details to encourage more research. I hope you know that you are not alone in your struggle and that others do care! I am sorry that you are suffering - it is so unfair. I will be praying that you find releif from your pain soon!
